Bell House, Camp John Hay –Personnel of John Hay Management Corporation (JHMC) participated in the training themed “Addressing Drug Challenges in Health and Humanitarian Crises” conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA-CAR) under the leadership of Regional Director Gil Ceasario Castro on Tuesday, August 9, 2022.
The aforementioned initiative also aligned with the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, also dubbed as World Drug Day which was observed on June 26, 2022.
The training was designed to promote a drug-free workplace and increase drug awareness among employees. It is, likewise, concurrent with the Drug Free Workplace Policy of the Corporation which was framed from Section 47, Article V, Republic Act No. 9165, “The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002”, and Department Order No. 53-03, “Guidelines for the Implementation of a Drug-Free Workplace Policies and Programs for the Private Sector” of the Department of Labor and Employment.
PDEA is the lead agency tasked with the efficient and effective enforcement of all laws on any dangerous drug and/or controlled precursors and essential chemicals. END
