Camp John Hay, Baguio City—To keep Camp John Hay clean and welcoming, new trash bins have been placed in busy tourist areas. The John Hay Management Corporation (JHMC) launched this effort to promote responsible waste disposal and preserve the camp’s natural charm.
“This simple step serves to safeguard the environment while ensuring visitors enjoy a clean and pristine space,” JHMC President and CEO Manjit T. Singh Reandi shared.
Located in key spots such as the picnic areas in Scout Hill and scenic viewpoints beside the John Hay hotels, including the residential areas at Forest Cabin, the bins are designed to minimize littering and are intended to reduce trash and encourage visitors to help preserve the camp’s natural state.
JHMC, the estate manager of the camp, underscores that maintaining cleanliness is a collective duty, urging tourists and locals alike to take part in keeping the area clean.
