JHMC AND CLUSTER 3 OF BAGUIO CITY HEALTH SERVICES LEAD THE CHARGE FOR ACCESSIBLE HEALTHCARE AND LEGAL AID

Baguio City, Philippines—Cluster 3 of the Baguio City Health Services Office and John Hay Management Corporation (JHMC), with the support of partners: the Department of Health—CAR, Philippine Business for Social Progress, Health Centers of Engineers Hill, Scout Barrio, Loakan, and Atok Trail, University of the Cordilleras—College of Law, UNILAB, Inc., BIOMATE, Inc., and the Philippine Red Cross, united to provide health care and legal services to residents on April 29, 2025, at the Greenwater Barangay Covered Court.
Residents from barangays, Loakan Proper, Happy Hollow, Scout Barrio, Hillside, Marcoville, Military Cut-Off, Sta. Escolastica, Loakan-Liwanag, Kias, Atok Trail, Salud Mitra, Poliwes, Loakan-Apugan, Camp 7, Upper Dagsian, Lower Dagsian, and Camp Allen benefited from the Healthy Barangay: Wellness and Education Program, gaining essential health and legal services. The event also featured Purok Kalusugan orientation, health talks, livelihood presentations, and Nutri-Games.
Key services provided include vaccinations, prenatal care, family planning, deworming, micronutrient supplementation, health screenings, medical & dental services, and PhilHealth KonSulTa registration. Free legal aid, human rights awareness, and VAWC advocacy were also provided, alongside mental health support through psycho-education.
JHMC’s corporate social responsibility initiative, led by its President and Chief Executive Officer, Manjit T. Singh Reandi, emphasized the significance of accessible healthcare and legal aid services, ensuring that every resident had the opportunity to receive these essential services for their well-being.
