Camp John Hay, Baguio City – Zip Infrastructure Co. Ltd. conferred and paid a visit with the officials of the John Hay Management Corporation, headed by its President and CEO, Atty. Marlo Ignacio V. Quadra, in the former’s office on August 5 and 6, 2024. This is in preparation for the feasibility study of the Zippar, a state-of-the-art self-driven cable car system that will revolutionize transportation within the historic site.
This is an initial setting of the operational and maintenance parameters to ensure that the Zippar blends seamlessly with the environmental principles and architectural heritage of Camp John Hay. As these two organizations forged ahead over this initiative, they are not simply attempting to provide Camp John Hay with a new mode of transportation; rather, they are working on a way toward sustainable development and a better tourist experience right in the heart of Baguio City.
This collaboration of Zip Infrastructure Co. Ltd., JHMC, and the Bases Conversion and Development Authority usher in a new frontier of infrastructural ingenuity where heritage meets renovation and functionality aligns with ecological responsibility.
