John Hay Management Corporation (JHMC) and the TESDA–Cordillera State Institute of Technical Education (TESDA-CSITE) are exploring avenues to strengthen workforce training and community development.
The partnership will introduce Enterprise-Based Education and Training (EBET), alongside micro-credential and short-term programs designed to equip employees and prospective workers with practical, industry-ready skills. It also supports upskilling and reskilling initiatives to ensure adaptability in a rapidly changing job market.
Key collaborations include workplace immersion, supervised industry learning, on-the-job training (OJT), apprenticeships, and learnerships, all aligned with labor and safety standards. Both institutions likewise commit to jointly enhancing competency standards and curricula, while sharing facilities and resources to maximize community impact.
“It’s about investing in people and building futures,” emphasized JHMC President and Chief Executive Officer Manjit Singh Reandi. With this partnership, the John Hay Training Center is set to become a cornerstone of community-based programs—empowering workers, elevating skills, and inspiring pride throughout the Cordillera.
