Scout Hill, Camp John Hay—John Hay Management Corporation (JHMC) President and Chief Executive Officer Manjit T. Singh Reandi, JHMC Board Director Arthur Ledesma, and JHMC Vice President and COO Jane Theresa Tabalingcos led the ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the reopening of the Camp John Hay mini golf course today, July 8, 2025.
“This historic place is more than iconic—it’s where childhood memories come alive and the core moments of our lives were shaped. Its relevance is beyond measure, and even the word ‘legendary’ doesn’t quite capture it. With its recent refurbishment and restoration, and with hopes of evolving into a futuristic mini-golf destination in Baguio City, this reopening isn’t just a revival—it’s the first of many exciting new beginnings for the sights and attractions within the camp,” said Singh Reandi in his message.
Located within the Scout Hill area, the mini golf course has long been a family favorite for locals and tourists alike. Though it operated for several years, the course temporarily paused operations to allow for key improvements following the recent turnover of Camp John Hay to the national government.
Now under the stewardship of the John Hay Management Corporation (JHMC), the revitalized facility offers guests an upgraded recreational experience and new memories to all who visit.
Mini golf operations run daily, with daytime play (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) priced at ₱300.00. BLISTT residents enjoy a discounted rate of ₱250.00. Evening sessions (6:00 PM to 10:00 PM) offer the unique experience of playing under the stars for ₱400.00, or ₱300.00 for BLISTT residents.
“I’ve observed a change in attitude and demeanor—the family feels whole again, and this place has truly become something new for the people of Baguio to enjoy. When you serve from the heart, nothing can go wrong,” shared Director Ledesma.
