The John Hay Management Corporation (JHMC) successfully held its Community Health Development Program on March 27, 2026, at Quezon Hall, Teachers’ Camp. Anchored on the theme “Namnama & Purokalusugan” (Hope & Health), the initiative forms part of JHMC’s 2026 Corporate Social Responsibility efforts to strengthen wellness and resilience across the Cordillera. The outreach delivered comprehensive services to residents of the
John Hay Reservation Area and nearby barangays, including diagnostic screenings, cancer and HIV testing, primary health support, and PhilHealth registration through the Yaman ng Kalusugan Program (YAKAP). Health education activities on sanitation, nutrition, and mental wellness further empowered participants toward preventive care.
The success of this outreach was made possible through the collaboration of dedicated institutional partners, including the Department of Health–CAR, local health centers from Engineers Hill, Cabinet Hill, and Country Club Village, and mobile X-ray service providers. It is also aligned with the national government’s healthcare program under President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., reinforcing the shift toward community-based prevention and early detection.
