John Hay Special Economic Zone
In 1994, the Baguio City Council through Resolution No. 255 requested President Fidel Ramos to declare Camp John Hay as a Special Economic Zone. In response, Proclamation No. 420 was signed declaring a portion of the Camp John Hay Reservation area as the John Hay Special Economic Zone (JHSEZ).
Investors who wish to establish their businesses within the JHSEZ are afforded tax and fiscal incentives.
The One Stop Action Center (OSAC) provides streamlined processing for permits required to be availed within the JHSEZ.
The JHSEZ offers businesses access to utilities that are vital to their day-to-day operations. Telecommunications facilities, electricity, and an abundant water supply system are in place.
