JHMC abides by its environmental mandate as it continues to coordinate with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in reviewing and rationalizing policies and in enforcing DENR environmental rules and regulations within the JHSEZ.

Among the Camp John Hay structures which remained intact after the heavy bombings in Baguio during WWII were the General's Quarters, the Bell Amphitheater, and the statue of the Igorot girl in the Italian Gardens.
