A giant sunflower marker will be unveiled on March 4, 2012 at 9:00 am at the Historical Core beside the totem pole. This marker commemorates the Panagbenga Festival which was established by JHMC (then JPDC) under the leadership of Atty. Damaso E. Bangaoet.
