𝐅𝐎𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐕𝐎𝐋𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐌|| With the goal of cultivating a culture of voluntarism in the promotion of keeping #campjohnhay clean and green, John Hay Management Corporation (#JHMC ), through its Environment Management Division (EMD), mobilized volunteers among its employees for a clean-up drive within the John Hay Special Economic Zone (JHSEZ) on Friday, June 30, 2023.
Forty (40) #JHMC personnel, along with service providers and on-the-job trainees (OJTs), actively and voluntarily participated in the activity, which resulted in the collection of 71 kilograms of mixed waste, the majority of which was plastic and other residues from the waterways and roadsides within the JHSEZ.
Clean-up drives are held on a regular basis throughout the Camp to encourage tourists and guests to practice responsible solid waste disposal. END
