CJHDevCo lawyer indicted for perjury

The Department of Justice (DOJ) charged the lawyer and spokesperson of the Sobrepeña-led Camp John Hay Development Corporation (CJHDevCo) of perjury before the Municipal Trial Court of Quezon City for knowingly making false accusations against the Directors of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) before the Office of the Ombudsman.

BCDA, JHMC and DepEd ink usufruct agreement on John Hay lot for school building

The state-owned Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) and the John Hay Management Corporation (JHMC)—BCDA’s implementing arm in the John Hay Special Economic Zone (JHSEZ)  and John Hay Reservation Area (JHRA) announced that it had recently signed a usufruct agreement with the Department of Education (DepEd) for the latter’s  use of a lot within Camp John Hay to put up a school building.

Public Consultation on Sanitation tree cutting and pruning of the 136 dead trees around Camp John Hay

John Hay Management Corporation recognizes that public consultation is one of the key conditionalities employed to improve transparency and efficiency of projects and programs. With this, the corporation has convened its stakeholders, locators, NGOs and media practitioners for the implementation and improvement of compliance and consensus and civic support for the sanitation tree cutting and pruning of the 136 dead trees around John Hay Reservation Area.


Tree planting activity of the Tree Top Adventure

The Environment and the Admin departments of JHMC have extended their support on the tree planting project of Tree Top on their anniversary date. JHMC sent five of its staff to join the tree planting activity held at the Tree Top Adventure area.

Local Runners, JHMC agencies team up for the clean-up drive

John Hay Management Corporation through its Environment Management Division, Community Relations Division and Security and Safety Department sponsored the nationwide adopt-an-estero project of the Department of Environment   and Natural Resources. Some of the tributaries of the Bued River are located within Camp John Hay.

Clean-Up Drive

  Understanding the imminent danger of the nippy climate change, some JHMC employees, the Baguio runners, comprised of 50 vigorous runners and the forest rangers/ security personnel from Maximum Security Agency and Glocke Security, respectively, converged for a clean-up drive along Loakan Road and the major trails in Camp John Hay.

The first bonjing eco walk was held last May 25 in Baguio City. The event was spearheaded by Dr. Celia Flor Brillantes of the Reproductive Health and Wellness Center. It was joined by different agencies including John Hay Management Corporation and volunteers from various NGOs in Baguio City. They were also joined by about 200 students from different high schools to the walk walk and orientation this Saturday morning from the Voice of America grounds along Loakan Rd. to the Bell Amphitheater of Camp John Hay
